One thing I can never understand is why someone would lock thousands of dollars’ worth of valuables in a $99 safe. Except maybe that they don’t know that an inexpensive safe purchased at an office supply store is not safe at all and can be easily accessed by an amateur thief – or someone who simply knows how to look something up on YouTube! Your valuables are worth protecting. Isn’t it worth spending a little extra money to ensure that they are?
We sell and install UL listed, commercial-grade tested safes for homes and businesses. Safes are heavy, but not impossible to move with the right equipment. And time is money to thieves. As part of our business safe installation procedure, we bolt down the safes to discourage theft from burglaries. Our safes are available with electronic or mechanical dial locking mechanisms.
We install fire rated safes that are able to withstand 60 minutes at 1200° without damaging the contents inside – another feature not available in safes purchased on the retail market.
Another common way that safes are broken into is by employees who know the passcode. We recommend installing a safe with a reprogrammable electronic lock for businesses that have multiple users accessing the safe. This prevents access from an employee has left the company but knows the combination.
At Goffstown Lock and Key, our primary concern is keeping your business secure – but not only from the outside! Are you considering investing a commercial grade safe in your home or business? We are happy to help guide you in the right direction.
